The European Union has been leading the way with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This regulation is very restrictive and imposes some steep penalties on companies who allow the release of Personally Identifying Information (PII).
Mr Kruger s company Absio offers an easy to use tool for software developers to design privacy controls on their data. This technology which has been optimized by Absio for several years is in many ways ahead of the market. But GDPR may be just the driver needed to expedite the individualized privacy era.
