Cyber Maryland, organized 6 years ago has been bringing industry, government agencies, and educators in the state of Maryland together to talk about Cyber Security. Today we talk to the founder David Powell who is also a member of the Colorado Springs Based Cyber Resilience Institute (CRI).
David gives some great insight on how to organize a community effort and some of the lessons learned from his work with the Cyber Maryland effort. He explains how getting everyone talking the same language was the first hurdle to overcome. Listen to hear ideas that can save us a lot of time as we organize the Colorado Cyber efforts. David thanks for your advice, NCC founders in Colorado will need advice from people such as yourself to make our local community effort a success.
