Societal practices tend to swing back and forth, much like a pendulum, from one extreme to another before making necessary corrections and stabilizing in the middle. The traits that our parents and grandparents’ generations valued are simply less valuable in today’s world.
The upcoming generation needs to be raised with the technical, process-based, skills NECESSARY to make them globally competitive. They have an optimism about the world. They believe we are living in the best, most opportune, time in human history. That generation is the future of our world. Harness their optimism, and encourage their innovation; and in so doing, make this world a better place.
