On today’s show, host Abe Thompson sits down with Dr. Richard White, the Director of the UCCS Cyber Security Programs in Colorado Springs. Rick gives us his background in cyber security, education, and history with the United States Air Force. He also speaks of a particular experience while in the services, after being face-to-face with the same computer chip that went bad in Cheyenne Mountain – sending out a false alert that we were under attack by the Russians. He also speaks of a device he personally owes that almost started World War III. Listen as he describes how is life experiences in HomeLand Security have helped him in the teaching world.
