 Abir Safa, a Muslim poet, joins Khadija to talk about how Islamic art can help change the public’s perception of the horrible things going on in the name of Islam today. Kadija and Abir both condemn the fact that people falsely claim a “peaceful religion” while simultaneously committing acts of terror.They also discuss the symbolism of the Hijab and the modesty it represents, and explain that a woman can be beautiful without being immodest in this sexualized modern culture.
